The struggling slums, the hustling bums
The nights overrun, knives and guns
Age we're young, experience we're old
life can be cold, crushing and brutal
but faith can soothe you and hopefully show you
we're similar people with similar problems
trying to solve 'em, hoping to make it
What does it take?
To break the addiction, to find what is missing
Unite the division, correct the broke system
But no one is listening to stresses of others
Ignoring the struggles, symptoms of trouble
yes, it's dangerous times, high rates of crime
but innocence dying, people are lying
In streets and not caskets, we should be asking
God gives us grace, how can we be so blind?

If God is love then love is God.
Love is all knowing and unconditional. Love is constant, glorious, and full of grace. True love is quite amazing but sometimes we only see the crazy love. The feelings we call love because we have a pre-conceived notion of what it looks like. We claim to know so much about it but don't recognize it around us. Some are in it and do not know it; others know it all day long but still are not in it.
Just like faith; you know when you are absent of doubt?
